Had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with this wonderful family. Such a beautiful baby boy. I wish these three all the best, and thank you so much for letting me be a part of this special day!

Yellow is actually a color you don’t see too much of at weddings, I think that’s why I love the use here so much. Contrasted with the gray, and the city on a gray day as a backdrop – it all came together perfectly. And the bride was just like the title, mellow yellow. She’s such a mellow, easy to be with person. I enjoyed spending the day with these two. A special thanks to Bill Benham from A Mind’s Eye for giving me the shoot, and working with me!

I’ve always been in love with taking pictures. In my personal artwork, I have a passion for our culture, and the history of our landscape. So much of it is changing and vanishing so quickly, I feel it’s important to document it. I love to just get in my car, and let the road take me away. It’s amazing the places I find, and the people I meet. Here are just a few photos I’ve taken in the past year or so of this type of work.

I’ve loved getting to photograph this little guy over the course of his first year. He is the fifth child in this family, and the FIRST boy. He’s always going to have plenty of girls there to take care of him;) I can’t say he had a great time during our session, but he was in love with his cupcake. And although cake shots are messy, I still think they are adorable. Seeing a child have at a cake for the first time in wonder and amazement as they discover this new found world of sugar!
